Hyderabad: Telangana High Court on Thursday ordered the arrest of Finance Department Principal Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania for non-compliance with its earlier directions. Issuing a bailable warrant, the court directed Hyderabad Police Commissioner to produce him on Friday. The court directed the Police Commissioner to arrest Sultania wherever he is found, keep him in safe custody and ensure his personal appearance before the court at 10.30 am on Friday. HC seeks compliance report from Hyderabad PoliceJustice Nagesh Bheemapaka, hearing the contempt petition, instructed the High Court Registry to immediately communicate the warrant to the Hyderabad Police Commissioner. The High Court had earlier issued contempt notices to Sultania and directed him to file a counter-affidavit or appear before the court.
