MORE than 17,500 people across Northern Ireland have benefited from community projects led by young women taking part in the SistersIN leadership and mentoring programme.
The Enniskillen participants, from Mount Lourdes Grammar School and Enniskillen Royal Grammar School, were among more than 750 young women supported by the charity through its 2025-2026 programme.
AdvertisementSistersIN aims to empower, educate and inspire young women by connecting them with mentors from business, public life and the wider community.
Participation among young women living in deprived areas also increased by 37 per-cent during the year.
Founded in 2022, SistersIN has grown into one of the region’s leading youth leadership programmes, supporting young women through mentoring, community projects and leadership development.
