COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) has opened a new customer service center in its downtown terminal. Customer service used to be at the downtown terminal, but closed in 2008 and later reopened in the Administration Office of Transit. Officials say that many of the MMT bus routes pass through downtown, making it easy for customers to visit the service center if they need assistance. "We've been open for about a month here and we have now seen ten times the number of people coming to this customer service compared to the customer service that we had at the Administration Office of Transit," Sheridan said. Sheridan says it is also making it easier on surrounding businesses because customers can now go to the customer service center when they need assistance.
