Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner T Vinay Krishna Reddy directed the officials to strictly implement the attendance system of sanitation workers and to conduct door-to-door garbage collection services more efficiently during the field inspections in HMT Nagar on Thursday. He also issued key instructions to the officials concerned on issues such as sanitation, solid waste management, greening, drain development, road maintenance and traffic regulation. The Commissioner inspected the QR code-based attendance registration system of clean autos in HMT Nagar as well as the Face Recognition System (FRS) attendance registration of sanitation workers. Later, he reviewed the Anti Larva Operations (ALO) being carried out at HMT Nagar Cheruvu and Errakunta Cheruvu and suggested that steps be taken to completely eradicate mosquito breeding centres. The Commissioner, reviewed the Vana Mahotsavam programmes to be undertaken under the auspices of Urban Biodiversity (UBD) in Singam Cheruvu Thanda, directed the officials to remove the old dead trees and plant new ones in their place to increase greenery.
