Visakhapatnam: Demanding a CBI inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the DSC-2025 teacher recruitment process and resignation of HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, holding him morally accountable, the YSRCP launched a relay hunger strike across all assembly constituencies in Visakhapatnam district on Thursday. He asserted that HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh should resign, accepting responsibility for the alleged irregularities. At Pedagantyada junction in Gajuwaka constituency, constituency coordinator Tippala Srinivasa Devan Reddy criticised the government for what he described as a lack of transparency in the recruitment process. Demanding an independent judicial inquiry into the alleged irregularities, he urged the government to take stringent action against those responsible. The protests formed part of YSRCP’s statewide campaign pressing for greater transparency in teacher recruitment and fulfilment of welfare commitments made for students and unemployed youth.
