Unique food options unveiled ahead of the Indiana State Fair opening FridayINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One of the biggest parts of the Indiana State Fair is also a fan-favorite: the unique food options. Jeanette Merritt, Communications Director with Indiana Pork, shared their creation; a piece of cornbread with their most popular pulled pork and a hot-honey BBQ sauce. Merritt was also happy to share her favorite thing about being a part of the fair for more than 30 years. You see new faces and all the little kids who are having an absolute blast here at the fair. Gates open for the state fair at 8 a.m. Friday, and the festivities last through August 23rd.
