MOORHEAD — Age-based eligibility has reached Minnesota State Moorhead and NCAA Division II athletics.
Minnesota State Moorhead head men's basketball coach Jason Kemp says the new NCAA Division II age-based eligibility model is more streamlined for student-athletes.
Becca Hanson / MSUM Dragons AthleticsStudent-athletes who enter college in the fall of 2027 or later will solely be on the age-based model.
Student-athletes who completed their eligibility in 2025-26 do not fall under the new age-based model.
That would allow that 2022 class to also be part of the five-year eligibility rule.
