LIVERMORE, Calif. — The Fargo 13U baseball team's run at the Little League Intermediate 50/70 World Series came to an end Thursday night.
Representing the Central Region, Fargo fell to California District 57 (Bollinger Canyon Little League) 25-0 after four innings in an elimination game.
ADVERTISEMENTFargo finished the tournament 2-2 overall, opening the competition with a 3-2 win over East Region representative West Side Little League (West Chester, Pennsylvania) on Sunday before picking up a 7-5 result over Southwest Region East Bank Little League (Kenner, Louisiana).
The Fargo 12U Little Leaguers begin play at the Little League World Series Midwest Regional tournament in Whitestown, Indiana on Friday, Aug. 7.
The team opens play against Davenport Northwest Little League (Iowa), with the game to be broadcast live at noon on ESPN+.
