STANLEY TOWNSHIP — After a group of residents rallied to gather signatures in a recent door-to-door effort, Stanley Township will hold a special meeting to decide whether Chair Kevin Biffert will remain on the township board. The special meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, at the Horace community center, located at 220 Thue Court. This land in Stanley Township, seen on July 14, 2026, is the site where a business wants to build a ready-mix concrete plant, though many township residents oppose it.
