Pahalgam terror attack: In a strong move to crack down on the terror outfits in Jammu and Kashmir, the J&K police have attached Rs 2 crore worth properties of Sajjad Gul, the founder of the militant group ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Toiba, blamed for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
25 tourists and a local ponywala were killed in the terrorist attack, where India retaliated against Pakistan through Operation Sindoor.
This according to the revenue records and verification from Tehsildar Central, Shalteng, Srinagar, belongs to the person named Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, S/o Khawja Anwar Sheikh, father of designated terrorist Sajad Ahmad Sheikh alias Sajad Gul.
After the Pahalgam terror attack earlier this year, the United States declared the group a terrorist organisation.
The TRF had also claimed responsibility for the April 22 attack, in which 25 tourists and a local pony operator were killed by terrorists.
