The incident has blocked the junction of the B5300 and B5301 at Blitterlees, near Silloth, this afternoon, Thursday, August 6. The crash is said to have involved a car and a motorbike. Emergency services are currently at the scene, and the road is closed while they deal with the incident. Police are advising motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes until the junction can be safely reopened. Cumbria Police were called at 2.10pm, and the man has been taken to hospital via ambulance.
