Person airlifted to hospital after crash in Braithwaite, Lake District

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 11.42am on Thursday, August 6.
The team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess and treat the patient.
The pedestrian was then airlifted to hospital.
A GNAAS spokesperson said: "Our critical care team was activated at 11.42am to reports of a road traffic collision in the Braithwaite area.
"Our team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess and treat a patient and airlifted them to hospital."
