Cumbria-based Createc, headquartered in Cockermouth, has deepened its collaboration with Boston Dynamics. The two companies have already spent more than six years working together to deploy mobile robots in some of the world’s most hazardous industrial settings. Under the new agreement, Createc becomes an authorised Boston Dynamics reseller and technology provider, with a particular focus on the nuclear industry. It will also represent Boston Dynamics across the UK industrial market and lead Enterprise Asset Management activities throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland. The formal launch of the expanded partnership was marked by a visit from Boston Dynamics to Createc’s Cockermouth headquarters earlier this week, joined by representatives from Sellafield Ltd.
