ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rainfall in Punjab and Islamabad on Friday, while light drizzle is expected along Sindh’s coastal belt, including Karachi. Areas including Niat Valley, Loshi, Babusar and Gais Bala have been impacted by flash floods triggered by intense rainfall. The Met Office has forecast rain in the city over the next 24 hours. The current temperature in Lahore was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is likely to remain around 27 degrees Celsius.
