Flooding issue resolved in Meliden after water main began leaking

The leak, on Ffordd Penrhwylfa opposite St Melyd’s Church, was first reported on Sunday (August 2).
Dwr Cymru / Welsh Water confirmed the repair works were completed last night (August 5), and the road reinstated.

Dwr Cymru arrived on site to deal with the leak on Tuesday morning (August 4).
The company said it was a "large water main supplying a significant number of properties," and apologised for the inconvenience and disruption caused.
