Bossier Parish Community College student Jailyn Guillory has been selected to serve as the 2026-2027 SkillsUSA Louisiana Postsecondary State President, a distinguished leadership appointment recognizing her commitment to professional development, service and career and technical education. As Postsecondary State President, Guillory will represent Louisiana’s postsecondary SkillsUSA members at state and national events, serve as an ambassador for career and technical education and work alongside fellow state officers to advance the organization’s mission and Framework. Throughout her term, she will support statewide initiatives designed to strengthen student leadership, professional development and workforce readiness. “Jailyn’s selection as SkillsUSA Louisiana Postsecondary State President is an exceptional achievement and a testament to the leadership, professionalism and dedication she has demonstrated,” Bateman said. “This role provides her with an opportunity to represent not only BPCC, but postsecondary career and technical education students throughout Louisiana.
