A total of 308 students received school supplies, while 290 backpacks were distributed by Columbus Baptist Church. The Sheriff’s Office thanked the 24 local agencies and organizations that partnered to make the annual giveaway possible. Families who still need school supplies may pick up a limited number of remaining items at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
