Malcolm James Evans, 73, of Baxley passed away peacefully at his residence on July 26, 2026. Above all Malcolm loved his wife, Sherry, his sons, M. J. and Clint, and his dogs were his babies and treasured members of his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mickey Evans and Jerry Carl Evans, and a sister, Jan Evans Hallman. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Kesler Evans, his precious sons, M. J. Evans (Summer Dean) and Clint Evans (Tony Wasden) all of Baxley; brothers, J. B. Evans of Alma, Larry Evans (Delores) of Surrency, Terry Evans (Tanya) of Baxley; sister, Judy Evans Folk (Kenny) of Moultrie; sister-in-law, Sharon Tillman Evans of Lavonia; and his cherished group of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and a special group of friends who are family.
