The rapper’s wife initially filed for divorce in June 2024, less than a year after their marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Despite filing to end the marriage, Chassagne has reportedly continued to maintain contact with Lanez during his incarceration. Following his appeal of conviction, Lanez was asked to be released on bond so as to live with his family while the case continued.
