OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – We’re seeing showers and isolated storms around the region this evening. Some of the storms have featured gusty winds and quite a bit of lightning, but so far have stayed below severe limits. If there is a threat with any of the showers and storms that pop up, it will be the chance for flooding in the creeks and low-lying spots, along with ponding water on the roads. Later tonight, the rain will end, and patchy fog will be the main travel concern, especially in places that see some rain today. How far south it gets – or whether the front is not able to make it into the US – will determine whether we see a cooldown or not.
