Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced in Poznań that additional allied F-35 aircraft from Norway will arrive in Poland on October 6th. These aircraft will work alongside Dutch and Polish jets to enhance the security of Polish airspace over the coming weeks. During a press conference at the Provincial Congress of the Polish People’s Party (PSL), he expressed gratitude to Poland’s allies. The Minister stated, “We look forward to the integration of Polish F-35s into service, with the first two already in our inventory. Norwegian pilots will be prepared to intercept any Russian drones or aircraft that violate Polish airspace, with decisions regarding engagement resting with NATO command.
