A lot of controllable young talented was forked over to other teams in recent days, including recent top-100 prospects Moises Ballesteros and Jefferson Rojas. Essentially, the team is resetting the top of their minor-league ranks ahead of a crucial (and lockout-looming) offseason. Instead, he'll now forge ahead with the Angels, while the Cubs are banking on Owen Ayers to emerge as their catcher of the future. With Ayers already in Iowa, the trade of Ballesteros has removed any doubt as to who the backstop position belongs to in the future.
