The incident began at around 1.10am today, Thursday, August 6, in Newton-le-Willows, when a Seat Leon failed to stop for officers on Common Road. The vehicle sped through residential streets before heading towards the M6, reaching speeds of up to 90mph. A 42-year-old man, from Warrington, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and drug driving. Meanwhile, A 29-year-old man, from Warrington, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and vehicle damage. Also, a 26-year-old man, from Warrington, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and possession of a Class A drug, cocaine.
