The gardening project at Park View Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes group, saw residents spend months nurturing sunflower seeds and comparing different growing methods to see which would produce the strongest plants. Residents watered the plants, tracked their progress and measured their growth each week as the flowers shot skywards throughout spring and summer.
