New homes plan next to village's historic manor house
['Shaun Webbley']
Hereford Times | News
The proposed scheme includes a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom houses, with 10 designated as affordable housing and eight for the open market.
The development would be located on an approximately 1.126-hectare parcel of arable land west of the B4348, on the northern edge of the village.
The application states that the site is well-placed for new housing and in line with Herefordshire Council’s Core Strategy.
The site is bordered by existing homes to the south, east, and west, with open farmland to the north.
The application acknowledges the proximity of Bryngwyn Manor, a Grade II-listed Victorian Gothic property about 200 metres from the site.
