Ms Cowan left midway through the series once her help was no longer needed, but became popular with viewers despite her short time on screen. Farmers across the UK took part in Farm24 last August 7, and the Derbyshire-born star officially backed last year's campaign. In a video series with the official clothing sponsor Beaumont & Bear last August, Ms Cowan discussed the future of farming and how close-knit the community is. "Farm24 is showcasing to the general public, over a 24-hour period, what a farmer gets up to," she said.
