The victim in the Friday, Oct. 3 shooting homicide on Minatre Road in Telferner has been identified by the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO). Savin was found to have two active murder warrants, one out of Los Angeles, California, and a second out of Victoria County. Savin was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office jail. The victim in the Minatre Road homicide was identified as Charminy Lewis, 47, of Plano, according to VCSO. “This is an incredible example of teamwork, dedication, and hard work,” Justin Marr, Victoria County Sheriff’s Office sheriff, said.
