Real Madrid have completed the club's most expensive signing by landing teenage sensation Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig on a seven-year contract. Real Madrid have smashed their own transfer record by signing Cote d'Ivoire international Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig in a deal reportedly worth around €130 million, making the 19-year-old the most expensive player in the Spanish club's history. His performances convinced RB Leipzig to invest around €20 million in July 2025. Speaking in a farewell message released by Leipzig, Diomande reflected on his time in Germany. Diomande becomes Real Madrid's fifth signing of the summer after Bernardo Silva, Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries.
