When proceedings resumed, the Lok Sabha took up legislative business and passed the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2026. The Bill further amends the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006, and had already been passed by the Rajya Sabha. The Rajya Sabha, meanwhile, witnessed repeated slogan-shouting by Opposition members demanding Amit Shah's presence in the House. Congress MP Pawan Khera said the Opposition had conveyed its demand through Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju. Despite the disruptions, the government managed to clear the MSME Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha before proceedings concluded.
