Ethan Dewhirst eased into the 400m semi-finals at the World Athletics U20 Championships. The Tir Chonaill AC athlete clocked the second fastest time of his career when clocking 50.73 seconds. At the famous Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, Dewhirst came second in his heat, the first of eight, and is comfortably through to Saturday’s semi-finals.
