A man who murdered his partner in a horror hammer attack after breaching a court order banning him from going near her is due to be sentenced. The body of the 54-year-old was discovered after Greer admitted to a friend that she was dead inside the property. At the time of the fatal attack, Greer was subject to a court order banning him from approaching Samantha following a previous assault. He admitted to murdering her at the High Court in Glasgow in June. He is facing a life sentence when he appears at the High Court in Dundee on Friday.
