An 11-year-old boy in Nyeri narrated the chilling moments he saw his mum lying on the ground and what happened to her. According to the boy, the sequence of events began when his father called out to him and his six-year-old sister from outside the house. "Let's go, your mum is behaving crazy," the man allegedly told the children. Rather than attending to the injured woman, the man allegedly moved her to a different position on the ground before directing both children into his car. Once he and his younger sister were seated inside the vehicle, the man allegedly reversed and drove over their mother a second time as they looked on.
