Safaricom's share price climbed 50.3% over the financial year, lifting its market capitalisation to KSh 1.10 trillion by 31 March 2026. Shareholders on the register as at close of business on 4 August 2026 will receive the final dividend on or about 4 September 2026. Cumulatively, Safaricom shareholders will have received approximately KSh 280 billion in dividends over the past five years. The board recommended a final dividend of KSh 8.70 per share, bringing the total dividend for the year to KSh 12.70 per share, representing a 59% increase from the previous financial year.
