For the first time in more than 90 years, Aurora’s Marmion Academy will welcome female students to its classrooms. WATCH HERE WATCH HERECamilla Del Rosario will be one of the first girls taking classes and playing volleyball for Marmion. In all, new coaches had to be hired for eight new women’s teams. Marmion had to join conferences that allowed them to compete against women’s teams, and former offices were converted into dressing rooms. Even though the school will be co-ed, new students will study separately for their freshman and sophomore years, according to school officials.
