The multi-state cyclosporiasis outbreak has turned deadly as health officials in Michigan linked two deaths to the parasitic infection. Most have been in Minnesota and Colorado, though Illinois health officials have confirmed the state is part of the investigation. According to Illinois health officials, at least 30 cases have been reported in the state in connection with the outbreak.
