A major fire broke out at Kok-Sai market, known as «Stary Tolchok,» in Bishkek. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire occurred in a plastic window and door manufacturing facility. Police officers and a power supply team were also involved in extinguishing the fire. According to eyewitnesses, in some parts of the market, emergency equipment was unable to quickly reach the source of the fire due to the narrow passages between the trade outlets. The fire was brought under control at 1:23 a.m., but has not yet been completely extinguished.
