16 Nigerian military officers to face disciplinary actions

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) said on Saturday that at least 16 military officers in the country would face disciplinary actions for alleged indiscipline and breach of service regulations.
He said the officers were apprehended during a routine military exercise following investigations into various acts considered inconsistent with military discipline and service ethics.
“Some of the apprehended officers had earlier been under watch for various offences, either awaiting or undergoing trial.

“The military remains fully committed to professionalism and the defence of Nigeria’s sovereignty,” he added.
