The Gurgaon police on Thursday arrested a 30-year-old domestic help for allegedly stealing jewellery and cash from the house of a BJP leader he was employed at.
Story continues below this adAccording to the police, the complainant reported that her domestic help had stolen jewellery from her home, following which a case was registered at the Sector 50 police station under relevant sections.
“The police recovered two gold necklaces, one gold ring, one gold chain, and a gold and diamond bracelet from Thapa’s possession.
He admitted to planning the theft after noticing the jewellery and cash in the house,” a police spokesperson said.
Thapa claimed that he had acted under Jora’s instructions, who was present at the scene during the Gurgaon theft.
