Speaking on behalf of the executive chairman of Kuje area council, the Director of Environmental Health, Sanitarian Gloria Apugo, stated that the ongoing evacuation exercise is in line with the directive of the executive chairman, Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, to eliminate illegal refuse dumpsites and promote a cleaner, healthier environment across Kuje. She said the Environmental Sanitation Committee has immediately mobilised to the site, deploying about trucks and wheelloader to facilitate the swift evacuation of the accumulated waste. She stated that the prompt commencement of the evacuation exercise is a clear demonstration of the executive chairman’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises and improving environmental sanitation throughout the area council.
