Hours after a man was allegedly stabbed to death in Baselwa Colony, the Faridabad police on Friday arrested a suspect in connection with the murder, police said. According to the police, the accused—identified as Raja (27), a resident of Baselwa Colony—was apprehended by the Old Faridabad police station team. The victim, Praveen, was allegedly stabbed to death by Raja following an altercation on the night of second October, police said. The confrontation escalated into a physical assault, during which Raja allegedly stabbed Praveen in the chest, resulting in his death, officers said. A case has been registered at Old Faridabad police station under charges of murder and assault, officers added.
