While stating that the Maharashtra Public Service Commission will expedite the process of filling up posts, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday said the year 2026 will be a year of recruitment.
He also announced that service entry rules for all cadre posts in the state will be suitably amended to keep pace with requirements and responsibilities.
He also handed over appointment letters to 10,309 candidates in the clerical category on compassionate grounds by the General Administration Department.
“A committee has been set up under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration, to expedite recruitment process.
