The Queer Neighbours Society of Red Deer and the University of Alberta Edmonton Student Legal Services are partnering to bring a second Transgender ID Clinic to Red Deer. The free clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 14. The first Transgender ID Clinic was held July 29. People should bring a valid piece of government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, ID card, passport, status card) and their health card. If people are unable to make it to the clinic, they can schedule a virtual appointment with the U of A Student Legal Services TransID Project anytime by visiting www.slsedmonton.com/trans-id-project.
