Brad Robinson, assistant to the deputy chief with Red Deer Emergency Services, said an alarm call came in at 10:03 a.m. and the first crew arrived on scene at 10:11 a.m. to find a fire in the sun room on the back of the house. “The fire damage was contained to the house itself and the attached sun room,” said Robinson, adding the fire did not spread far into the house. He said the crew did a good job and got the necessary resources in place to quickly minimize the fire. No one was home at the time of the fire, and Emergency Services did not yet know how many people were impacted by the fire.
