Jennifer Hahn, a returning Pastels on 5th artist and 2025 First Place winner, says the annual chalk art festival is about more than creating beautiful artwork—it’s about building community and supporting survivors through Alternatives to Violence. “Supporting those in need as a community is how we keep our local community thriving and healthy,” she said. “I hope my art at Pastels on 5th brings people joy and a sense of hope,” she said.
