News ReleaseROCHESTER – A Kewanna man was arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence with a child in his vehicle. Alexander John Lute, 49, 345 N. 1000W, Kewanna, is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment and neglect of a dependent, both level 6 felonies. According to court documents, upon arrival at the scene, officers spoke with the vehicle’s driver, identified as Lute. The vehicle was parked diagonally across two parking spaces and officers noticed the smell of alcohol inside Lute’s vehicle. It was later discovered a child had been present in Lute’s vehicle.
