If you ask Porter County Commissioner Jim Biggs, he’ll tell you that hardly anyone in the northwest Indiana county wants their tax dollars to go to a Chicago Bears stadium in neighboring Lake County. Biggs said the idea that Porter County could get business from the deal is ridiculous, questioning why people would stop to eat in Porter County when there are plans to develop restaurants around the stadium.
