More than 1,000 Warsaw Community Schools employees gathered to kick off the 2026-27 school year. WARSAW – Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) officially launched the 2026-27 school year this morning with a districtwide staff celebration centered around the theme #LeadingTheWay. More than 1,000 teachers, support staff, administrators and employees gathered at the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center to celebrate the start of the new school year. As the new school year begins, Warsaw Community Schools invites families to attend upcoming back-to-school open houses for Edgewood and Lakeview Middle Schools 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11. The first day of school for Warsaw Community Schools students is Friday, Aug. 7.
