Apparently, the WWE is trying to trademark “Vice City” just a few months before the release of Grand Theft Auto 6. As spotted by Fightful, on August 4, the WWE applied for a trademark to lock down the use of “Vice City” via the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Instead, the trademark filing clearly explains that the WWE wants to own the term Vice City in the context of wrestling and live sports. The term Vice City has been connected to the wrestler and is apparently a reference to her Miami, Florida roots. That game is set in Vice City, a place that has been a part of the GTA franchise for decades.
