Bollywood star Salman Khan has been summoned by a court in connection with a cheating case involving a Being Human jewellery showroom. The case has been filed by Arun Gupta, a businessman from Chandigarh, who alleges he was duped into setting up a Being Human jewellery showroom. Among the specific promises allegedly made to him was that Salman Khan himself would personally inaugurate the Being Human jewellery showroom. Despite this defence, the court has proceeded to issue summons to Salman Khan and the other named accused in the case. Salman Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and the other accused will be required to give their formal replies to the charges on October 5, 2026.
