The NSW Minns government is under renewed union attack over its attempts to force major job shedding in the public service in the name of digital transformation. This time, the NSW Public Service Association is keeping ministers up at night over the loss of as many as 80 permanent jobs from the government’s own insourced outsourcer. The PSA has officially gone the legal knuckle by declaring a formal industrial dispute over a restructuring within Customer Service NSW that could lead to major job losses, despite an insourcing edict.
